This is a 4x4 inch bolted storybook made in collaboration with the Small Cities Lab—a Lehigh-born venture with an arm focused on transforming underutilized church properties into affordable housing in the Lehigh Valley. Tasked with engaging diverse stakeholders around a sensitive, complex issue and with only two weeks, I hit the drawing board. The result is an isotype-inspired storybook that uses clean symbols and stark facts to give readers a clear view of the problem, process, and potential behind this early-stage initiative.
